Work here.
It's harder
and better.

01 · What we hire for

Four things. None of them are
years of experience.

01

Taste you can defend

You can explain why something is good without using the word "clean." Bonus points if you can explain why something popular is bad without sounding bitter about it.
02

Speed that isn't sloppy

Fast is a craft. Rushed is a personality. We can tell which one you are in a single round of notes, and so can the client.
03

Ownership, out loud

If you find the problem, you own the problem. Nobody here has ever said "that's not my scope," partly out of principle and partly because we would all laugh.
04

Curiosity about AI that isn't religious

You use it, you don't worship it, and you can spot slop at a glance and delete it without being asked. The machine does the reading and the reps. You still have to have the idea.
02 · Honestly, don't

This is not for you if…

01You need a twelve-person approval chain to feel safe.
02Your favorite part of the job is the status meeting.
03You need a brief before you can have a thought.
04"We've always done it this way" is, to you, a strategy.
05You bill by the hour somewhere deep in your soul.
06You would describe yourself, unironically, as a thought leader.

Everyone else: keep going. The list above is genuinely the whole filter. We have hired people with no agency background and passed on people with fifteen years of it.

03 · What we read for

No job posts.
We hire when we meet you.

We do not post roles on a schedule and then interview for six weeks. We meet people, we remember them, and we call when the work shows up. Usually about two weeks before we need them.

Always reading

Production & Post

Shooters, editors, motion. You can run a set with three people and cut a slate in the time most people schedule a kickoff.

Always reading

Creative & Art Direction

Concepts that survive contact with a feed. You know the difference between a good idea and a good-looking one.

Always reading

Creators & Talent

You know who is about to matter, not who already does. You can talk to a founder and a nineteen-year-old with the same face.

Always reading

Strategy & Performance

You read a channel honestly, find the break-even, and say the uncomfortable number out loud in the meeting.

Always reading

AI & Automation

You build the stack, not the demo. Agents wired to real data, doing real work, with a human in the loop.

Also fine

"I don't know what I am yet"

Some of the best people here arrived undefined. Send the work. We'll figure out the title later, together.

04 · The deal

What we can promise,
and what we can't.

We can promise

  • Real work for Fortune 500 brands and for founders with one product and nothing to lose. Often in the same week.
  • Your hands on the actual output. Nothing gets subcontracted out from under you.
  • Speed. You will ship something in your first week and see it run in your second.
  • Straight answers, including the ones you didn't want. The founder is reachable and does reply.
  • Credit. Your name goes on it internally and, where the client allows, externally.

We can't promise

  • A forty-person team to hide behind on a bad week.
  • A title ladder with eleven rungs and a sideways move at rung four.
  • Quiet quarters. There is no season here where nothing is happening.
  • A foosball table. We have all seen what happens to those.
  • That you will be the smartest person in the room. That's the point.
A quiet room with people working at small tables in warm light
05 · Apply

Show us one thing you made and tell us what you would change about it now. That answer tells us more than a résumé, a portfolio site, and a phone screen combined.

We read all of them. Freelance, full-time, or undecided, say which in the last field.
